We are open to serve you, answer questions or schedule an appointment during the following hours:
Monday - Thursday: 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
You will find that your visits to our office will be smooth, efficient and on time. We recognize that most of our patients have obligations during the day, usually involving school or work. When orthodontic treatment begins, you will typically see Dr. Kelley every six weeks to ten weeks. Inevitably, some of these appointments will conflict with school or work schedules. One of our goals is to have as few of these inconveniences as possible. To help us achieve this goal, we have devoted considerable time and effort to establish the following scheduling guidelines.
Routine Appointments
Approximately 80% of your appointments will be short 15-30 minute visits. Once your braces are placed, we typically alternate your appointment lengths between 15 minutes one visit and 30 minutes the next visit; however, 30-minute appointments are more difficult to schedule after school hours.
Longer Appointments
We schedule longer appointments in the morning and early afternoon during school hours. Longer appointments typically involve the initial placement of the braces, banding of second molars, and braces removal. By scheduling in this way, Dr. Kelley is able to spend more individual time with each patient. Also, this allows more time in the afternoon to accommodate as many patients as possible after school. We are happy to provide you with a written excuse to avoid an unexcused absence from work or school.
Rescheduled Appointments and Late Arrivals
While every appointment is important to the success of your treatment we understand that certain circumstances may cause you to change or overlook an appointment. If you are unable to keep an appointment please call us as soon as possible to reschedule. We will offer you the first available appointment. Please remember that missed appointments are difficult to reschedule after school and will extend the estimated treatment time.
It is our goal to see each patient in a timely manner. Each procedure takes a specified period of time, and late arrivals affect our schedule. We may still be able to see you if you arrive late, though we may not be able to complete the intended amount of work. If you will be arriving late, please call our office so that we can make appropriate arrangements.
